As soon as we touched down in Amsterdam in '2015 we knew we loved it.  Our first trip was for our 10 Yrs. wedding anniversary and even though it with was cool and rainy, we fell in love.  Amsterdam is a safe and beautiful city and we loved going for walks along the canals and eating great food.  We also loved great jazz there at place such as Cafe Alto and knew we would return to the city which we did 3 times. We both had career opportunities in 2020 and decided to jump on the chance to live here, and we never regretted it, even after Eric's cancer diagnoses and passing.  Eric wanted to return before he left us and we did.  He passed away there and I believe he was happy we went back.
